The demand of its products grew to such an extent that in 1992 a new plant was established equipped with modern machinery for the production of Polyamide 6 and 6.6. The production capacity of the two plants for Nylon 6 and 66 is 1200 tones per month. Istanbul corap, Turkey is a major textile corporation producing Polyamide fibers and tights and is serving the hosiery, sock, raschel knitting, covering and circular knitting industries. The plant for production of tights possesses 1140 computerized machines which makes it the biggest company in Turkey and in this respect it holds 75% of the Turkish market. In that period the company achieved its most successful years and became one of the major factories in the textile industry. The first entry of Istanbul corap, Turkey on the East-European market and the Balkans was in 1995. The extremely good acceptance of the company and its products is due to the quality products offered by it and the correctness in its business relations.
